HOGG—In lOvia/ memory of our dear son and brother, David, who passed away on December 22, 1949. Dearer to us than words can tell, Was our son we lost and loved so well. PATENA—In loving memory of my dear husband and father who was accidentally drowneed at Roto-Aira December 22, 1949. Its just twelve months ago When love was all aglow. But God who knows all things, Had other things to say. He took you away without warning, In a way we did not know. But who could say that He was wrong. Buddy, Gabriel, Manu and Steve, We grieve for you today. So tragic came that sad, sad end, Home was never the same, We are sad and lonesome, Since you were called away.
