RANGITIKEI CATCHMENT BOARD. Rangltikel River Control & Drainage Scheme Classification List. PUBLIC Notice is hereby given that a Classification List of the lands likely to receive any benefit direct or indirect from the Rangitikei River Control and Drainage Scheme has been prepared and is available for inspection for the period ending at 4 p.m. on 19th February, 1951, at the Board’s Offices, Rangitikei County Chambers, Marton, during normal business hours. A copy of this Classification List will also be open for inspection during the same period at the Offices of the Manawatu County Council, Sanson, and at thd Offices of the Bulls Town Board. The proportions named by the Classifier for classes to benefit from this Scheme are:— CLASS "A” 100 "B” 80 “C” ... 60 “D" 40 “E” 20 “F” 10 "G” _ 0 Any person aggrieved by this classification or the finding of these proportions may appeal against the same on the grounds following and on no other grounds:— (a) That the Classification does not fairly classify the land of the appellant. (b) That any land liable to be classified is omitted from the classification, or is not fairly classified. (c) That any land is improperly included within or excluded from the area to which the classification relates. (d.) That the proportions in which the rates are proposed to be imposed on the several classes do not fairly represent the varying degrees of benefit to the lands in the several classes, or that the proportion of the rate imposed on any particular class or classes is too great or too small. In the case of any appeal as aforesaid, a notice of appeal setting out the grounds thereqf shall before or within 21 days after the expiration of the period appointed for the inspection of the classificat'on list be given to the Clerk of the •.agistrate’s Court nearest to the Office of the Board, and a copy thereof shall within the same period be lodged at the Office of the Board.
