Fenwick, will fly it to Palmerston North to collect a patient who is to be taken to Dunedin. Returning from Dunedin, another patient will be a passenger in the plane. Unsuccessful Drilling at the Wanganui racecourse to gai'n additional supplies of artesian water has so far been unsuccessful. Finding the output from its present well insufficient for watering the track throughout the summer, the Wanganui Jockey Club hoped the drilling would provide enough water for a second reservoir to be constructed. Drilling is proceeding, but the shaft has already bee'n sunk to a depth of more than 700 feet.
