WANGANUI JUVENILES READY FOR WOODVILLE

Eulo and Editor, two Wanganuitrained juveniles who are engaged in the Juvenile Handicap at Woodville tomorrow, ran a smart two-furlongs yesterday morning on the course proper, where the pegs were 12ft out. The going was good but not fast. Editor (K. Chote) and Eulo C. Wright) finished together, both going well, registering 37 for the journey. Editor, a brown gelding by Paper Boy from Thcodorus, is owned by Mr M. Millar, of Palmerston North, and will be having his second start. Eulo is the Timanova-Imposture filly raced by Mr G. M. Currie. She has had four races for one minor placing. Already (Chote), Garvagh (McKinnon) and Parlous (W. Reid) were associated over four furlongs, taking 50. Already was a nose in tront of Garvagh, who had his tongue over the bit. Parlous was a length and a-half away.

The Pro, Brown Jester and Arigead went out to run half a mile at threequarter pace and slipped over the first two furlongs in 25. They were then eased up to take 52 for the journey. The Pro, who went very well, will be ridden by W. J. Broughton in the Gorge Handicap tomorrow. Gathered Gold slipped over three furlongs in a shade under 39. Green Rushes put in a good working gallop over a mile, sprinting up the straight. The Coronach filly will have her next race at Awapuni. E. A. Carveil remained at Woodville with Red Ruler, Blue Smoke and Polleta. Chote is to ride Polleta tomorrow.

Meriden, who did not return home from Woodville, will be ridden by B. Carroll.
