Reinforcements May Not Be Forthcoming
WASHINGTON, Dec. 2 (Recd. 6 pm).—Well-informed Senators, who asked to be left unnamed, said today that General MacArthur, during the present critical stages in the Korean war, would apparently receive no sizeable reinforcements. The three Senators said they were informed that there were no available reserves.
One said: “Military leaders are not going to pick Korea as a place to fight a third world war.’’
