Wanganui Women Softball Players Selected For Training
The Wanganui women's so/ball selector, Mr L. Moyle, has announced the names of 14 players, who are to train for selection in the Wanganui representative team which will compete in the New Zealand women’s championships at Christchurch in January. First practice will be held today on the Gonville Domain at 5.30 p.m. Players are:—Dodgers: B. Bailey, B. Robb, K. Richdale, G. Atkinson, N, Garraud. N. Carroll. Amazons: M. Wright, O. Daken, L. Cuthbertson, V. Campbell, K. Mete Klngi. St. Mary's: N. Tasker. Relax Club: E. Hollenback. Waverley: P. Stewart. The team, when finally selected, will comprise 12 players. Entries for the national tournament have been received from Wanganui, Wellington (holders), Auckland, Waikato, King Country, Hutt Valley, Canterbury and Manawatu.
