FEILDING ACCEPTORS FOR NEXT SATURDAY

For the concluding day of the Feilding Jockey Clubs spring meeting, next Saturday, the totalisator double will be on the St. Andrew’s Handicap and the Rongotea Hack Handicap. Divisions have been arranged in the Novice Stakes, with 42 acceptors, and the Nikau Hack Handicap (39 acceptors). Provision has also been made for divisions in the Oroua Nursery, for two-year-olds, in which the safety number is exceeded by three.

The field for the St. Andrew’s Handicap exceeded the safety number by eight. Treneere and Zala were balloted out with the right of re-entry in the order named, and Brightside, Jolly Robin, Marlo’ch, Sandy Harrison, Sly Ferry and Terrific were eliminated.

From the Rongotea Hack Handicap field Already and Repudiate were balloted out with the right of re-entry in the order named and Heroa was eliminated as a dual acceptor. Alumnus, Fairtime, Fastidious, Grand Venture, Robite, Scamper, Eulogette and Pickup were balloted out without right of re-entry. In the Novice Stakes field Headline and Red Warrior were eliminated nd Bonne Affaire and Lord Neptune were balloted out without right of reentry. Following are the acceptors:— I
