A large crowd witnessed good play in a further series of games under the control of the Wanganui Softball Association at Gonville Domain on Saturday. Feature games of the day were the St. Mary’s-Amazons game i'n the women’s section and the UnitedRed Sox match in the men’s championship round. Results: MEN S SECTION United 6, Red Sox 5. Giants 18, Wanganui East Braves 6 Wanganui East 18, United 13, WOMEN’S SECTION St. Mary's 10, Amazons 8. Relax 29, Waverley 28.
