BITTER WINTER WILL MAKE IT EASIER FOR CHINESE IN KOREA
SEOUL, Nov. 12 (Recd. 8 pm). —The bitter Korean winter closing in will make it easier for the Chinese to fight a holding action for the Yalu River dams if that is their intention.
United Nations troops had some advantage in numbers and great superiority of weapons and equipment, but they were at the end of a long supply chain, reaching back to the U.S.A., while the Chinese had limitless reserves at a moment’s notice.
