Woman Found Dead In Bed
A widow, Mrs Dorothy Maud Hodge, aged about 43, was found dead in her bed at the Fern Leaf Lodge, Taupo Quay, where she was staying, at 7 p.m. on Saturday. She had not been seen all day. An inquest was opened before the Wanganui district coroner, F. Forsythe, yesterday, and after evidence of identification had been taken was adjourned sine die.
