Young Woman Pillion Rider Dies Of Injuries
AUCKLAND, Last Night (PA).— A young woman who was a pillion rider on a motor-cycle which skidded and struck a lamp-post in St. Luke's Road, Mount Albert, cn Saturday morning, died in the Green Lane Hospital tonight. She was: Miss Audrey Gale, aged 20, of Kingsland. The driver of the motor-cycle, Mr. Thomas Saxon Charlesworth, aged 21, a radio technician, of Mount Albert, suffered a fractured wrist and was admitted to the Middlemore Hospital.
