Will The N.Z. House Of Representatives Be Televised?
PARLIAMENT BLDGS., Last Night (PA).—Will television be installed in the House of Representatives? This question was implied by the Minister of Broadcasting (Mr Doidge) in the House tonight during his reply to some criticism of the Broadcasting Service. He said that having had some experience with television while he was overseas, he did not think that the service could be extendto cover the House of Representatives. “But if it was, then members will keep to their seats as they have never kept to them before,” added the Minister.
