ALPINE GUIDE KILLED LEADING RESCUE PARTY
GENEVA, Nov 7 (Recd 6 pm).— The body of the ace alpine guide Rene Payot, who was swept to death by an avalanche on Mont Blanc yesterday, was recovered last, night from under more than 20 feet ol snow. Payot was leading a rescue party to the wreck of a Constellation airliner when the tragedy occurred. Later all search parties were call-, ed back to the main base on the mountainside. Payot, Ihe father of throe children, was killed only 300 yards from the spot where his brother, also a guide, was killed by an avalanche. Payot held Euikgest mountain .guides i diploma. Search parties will set out again today to reach the Constellation in which it is believed 48 perished.
