DELEGATES TO THE PARLIAMENTARY CONFERENCE ARRIVE IN AUCKLAND

AUCKLAND, Nov. 5, (PA).—Eight delegates to the Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference to be held at Wellington between November 24 and December 1 arrived at Auckland by air this morning. The party was led by Viscount Alexander of Hillsborough. The delegates arrived in the morning and were met by the AttorneyGeneral and Minister of Justice, Mr. Webb, the Mayor, Sir John Allum, the town clerk, Mr. T. W. M. Ashby, and members of the Internal Affairs Department. The delegates who arrived this morning were Viscount Alexander of Hillsborough, Lord Wilmot, former British Minister of Supply, Senator the Hon. A. W. Roebuck, Speaker of the Canadian Senate, Captain the Rt. Hon. Sir Norman Stronge, Bart, M.C., Speaker of the House of Commons of North Ireland, the Hon. K. Nasarollah, East Bengal, Dr. O. H. Malik, of the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan, Senator the Hon. Dr. L. A. Rajapakse, Minister of Justice and Leader of the Senate, who is accompanied by his wife, and Mr. R. St. L. P. Deraniyagala, M.8.E., secretary of the Ceylon Delegation.
