TOTALISATOR FIGURES SHOW INCREASE ON LAST YEAR’S FIGURE
Totalisator investments covering four gallop meetings and two trotting fixtures totalled £561.165J, compared with £467.704 for the corresponding day last year. Both the Auckland and Canterbury meetings showed increases. At Auckland £169,670i was handled as against £141,3211, an increase of £28,349. At the C.J.C. meeting the investments totalled £194,373*. which is an increase of £39,476 on last year’s total of £154<897i. Decreased figures were recorded at both Napier Park and at Stratford.
