REPRESENTATIVES OF THREE WARS AT R.S.A. REUNION

Some 150 ex-servicemen—represen-tative of three wars, the Boer War and World Wars I and ll—attended the annual reunion of the Wanganui Returned Services Association last last night. A warm welcome was given to the three members of the South African Veterans’ Association who attended.

The following casts were honoured: The King, proposed by the president, Mr M. G. Wadey; the New Zealand Returned Services Association, Mr Wadey, replied to by Mr H. R. Gilbert; the Women’s Section of the Wanganui R.S.A.. Mr R. Russell. Mr R. L. Hains; Absent Comrades, Mr E. F. Laws; the Bugler (Mr G. M. Beale), Mr Wadey. The rest of the evening was spent in light entertainment, during which many old comradeships were renewed.
