CHINESE ADVANCE IN TIBET; DALAI LAMA LEAVES CAPITAL
NEW DELHI. Nov. 3 (Ree. 1 am). —Advancing Chinese troops have reached a point only 150 miles from Lhasa, the Tibetan capital, according to authoritative reports quoted by Reuter’s Kalikpong correspondent. The Dalai Lama, accompanied by the Regent, Takta Rimpoche, and the Cabinet, have left Lhasa for an unknown destination. A political changeover is reported to haw taken place in Lhasa.
