RED CHINA SEEMS ABOUT TO FULLY ENTER KOREAN WAR
Anxious Eyes Taking Note Of A New Development And Looking To U.N.O. TOKIO, Nov. 3 (Ree. 12.55 am).—Communist China gave every indication today of preparing for a full-scale intervention in the Korean war. , Thousands of Chinese troops already are fighting the United Nations forces in Korea, and more are crossing from Manchuria each day. The Chinese leaders have not yet told the Chinese people that Chinese troops are in action in Korea, but hhinese Communists have thrown the full facilities of their vast propaganda machine into a furious campaign to whip up popular support for Chinese intervention. . The extent and tenor of the campaign indicates that the Chinese President, Mao Tse-Tung, and his cohorts inteend to make a still greater contribution to their North Korean comrades. Diplomatic quarters in Tokio are keeping an anxious eye on the situation and are looking to Lake Success to take cognisance of this new development. Well-informed quarters say that General MacArthur also is watching the situation closely.
