FORMS of application and. particulars of conditions may now be obtained from the Director-General of Health, Wellington, and all District Health Offices in respect of bursaries available for students undertaking the course for the degrees of M. 8., Ch.B. or of 8.D.5., in the University of New Zealand. Applications close 31st December, 1950, with Director-General of Health, Wellington. The bursary is of the value of £7O p.a. with a boarding allowance of £4O p.a. where the bursar is obliged to live away from home. Bursaries are not granted as of right but after consideration of all relevant circumstances. In particular, the financial circumstances and academic qualifications of applicants will be taken into consideration and preference given to candidates not more than 21 years of age.
