KIPPO SHOULD TAKE CENTRAL HAWKE’S BAY CUP AT WAIPUKURAU

Though Hawke’s Bay stables, as might be expected, provide the majority of the horses figuring in the various events today at the Waipukurau Jockey Club's meeting, there is a good representation from the Awapuni centre and a sprinkling from Wanganui. Many of those engaged were seen in action on the previous two Saturdays at Hastings, and recent form should prove fairly reliable. The principal event, the Central Hawke’s Bay Cup, will be the first “leg” of the totalisator double, which will be completed with the one mile I Porangahau Hack Handicap.
