Demonstration Of Weed Spraying To Be Given To Whangaehu Farmers

MARTON, Rast Night (SR).--So many requests had been received from farmers regarding the use of various sprays and materials that it had not been possible to interview every farmer seeking information, stated the inspector of noxious weeds, Mr. J. Robinson, at the monthly meeting of the Rangitikei County Council today. As a result, he intended calling a meeting at Whangaehu during the next two weeks of all interested in the spraying of weeds. Various methods would be explained and arrangements made to inspect properties which had been sprayed last year and this. “By having the lecture and inspection of properties at Whangaehu it will give farmers in the Wanganui County an opportunity of attending,” Mr. Robinson added.
