Adjudicator For N.Z. Brass Band Championships In 1951
! WELLINGTON, Yesterday (PA).-- ! It was announced today by Mr. 11. B. j Riggs, president, of ( s »e New Zealand I Brass Bands’ Association, that Dr. I Denis Wright, music organiser to the ! 8.8. C. transcription service, has been 1 appointed adjudicator for the New Zealand brass hands’ championship to be held in Wellington from March 31 to April 7, 1951. It is expected that 40 bands, including bands from Australia, will participate in the championships, which are being held here for the first time since the exhibition year 1910.
