PARLIAMENT BLDGS., Last Night (PA)—Speaking in the debate on the Budget in the House of Representatives last night, Mr. Anderton (Opp., Auckland Central) asked what the Government was doing to ensure that workers received their share of the nation’s higher income from wool. Sults selling on Bond Street, London, last year for £34 were now priced at over £6O, and suits costing £l5 in New Zealand today would cost £32 next year. How were the workers to face such costs?
