Another Is Approved For The Girls’ College Site

Cabinet approval has been given for ihe purchase of approximate]} throe and a-quarter acres of the Duncan Estate as additional land foi the now Wanganui Girls’ College. With this latest, addition to the Holmore Street ground, however, the college will now have available to ‘U almost, eight, acres of ground which although not right at band from the college block or the hostel, will be most valuable as a playing field are? for such games as hockey.
