SERIES OF EARTH TREMORS IN ITALY
ROME, Sept 5 (Reed 11.50 pm).— A series of earth tremors shook central Italy from Rome to the Adriatic coast early on September 5. The oniv damage reported was at Teramo ar., nearby villages where at least 12 persons were slightly hurt. The Teramo police said the injuries there occurred in an Old Folks’ Home. In Rome the shocks were strong enough to awaken residents but did no damage.
