ANNOUNCEMENT BY MR. HOLLAND
PARLIAMENT BLDGS., Last Night (PA) —The Prime Minister (Mr. Holland) announced tonight that confirmation*had been -cceivcd from the King that, provided circumstances permit. Their Majesties have every hope of visiting New Zealand in 1952. Mr. Holland said the GovernorGeneral and the Government hail Iwen requested to prepare a preliminary programme for the visit, which would, of necessity, have to be of a somewhat different and less strenuous character in view of the King’s state of health, than that proposed for 1949. Arrangements for the revised programme are being put in hand in qrder to ensure that His Majesty might 9?e as many of his subjects as possible, and 'that the long desired visit, should be a happy and memorable one. both for New Zealand and for Their Majesties themselves.
