Wanganui Competitions To End Tonight

Tonight will mark the coneli lions Society’s Revival Festival, and national dancing classes to 1 afternoon there is to be a demoi demonstration concert.

At the end of last night’s performance in the Opera House, the president of the Society, Mr. E. Lind, thanked the judges. “It has been a pleasure to work with them,” he said. “They gave competitors the utmost encouragement. We hope they will be back with us once more.”

The judges were: Mr. H. Temple White (Wellington), who judged the vocal section, Mr. H. Brusey ("Wellington), instrumental, Miss Nancy Russell (Hawera), elocution, Miss Constance Macdonald (Napier) dancing, and Mr. Hilary Glasgow (Turakina), national dancing.
