Rumour About Petrol Rationing
INVERCARGILL, Last Night (P.A.). —A rumour that petrol rationing vyas to be imposed again went round Invercargill late today, and caused what resellers described as a fair bit of panic buying. When the report was referred to the Minister of Supply at Wellington he said: “I don’t know anything about it.”
