“NOISES OFF”—All kinds of noises, both usual and unusual are included in the British Broadcasting Corporation’s library of recorded sound effects. A member of the ’recorded programmes staff is here making a record of a horse and cart going over rough ground on Lord de la Warr’s home, the Buckhurst estate farm, near Tunbridge Wells, in Kent. It would seem that the horse does not quite know what to make of the strange instrument being held so near its nose.
