The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Athletic, Cycling and Axemen’s Union, held in Marton on Saturday:— President, Mr. A. E. Scarrow (Raetilii); vice-presidents, Messrs, w. G. Gibson (Mangamahu) and H. W. Butcher (Palmerston North); secretarytreasurer, Mr. P. Eades (Rangataua); executive, Messrs. N. D. Scarrow (Raetihi), D. C. Wright (Raetihi), C. Solley (Raetihi), A. H. Timms (Raetihi), C. T. Allenby (Raetihi), W. D. Dempsey (Palmerston North), C. C. Mickleson (Mataroa), L. W. Bolstead (Raetihi), A. Malpas (Karioi), C. L. Snowball (Itangatane), C. J. Dickson (Mangaweka), W. G. Wade (Marton), delegate to N.Z. conference at Christchurch in January, Messrs. P. Eadcs and W. C.
