BARCLAY—On July 19,1950, at the Wanganui Hospital, Alexander, dearly loved husband of the late Mary Barclay, of No. 38 Durie Street, Dune Hill, formerly of Kai Iwi, and beloved father of Alex and Jim; in his 80th year. . , Friends kindly note that the funeral will leave the residence of his son, No. 38 Durie Street, Durie Hill, for the Matarawa Presbyterian Cemetery today (Friday, July 21, 1950). at the conclusion of a service commencing at 1.30 p.m.—Dempsey and Sons.

BEVEGE—On July 20, 1950, at the Wanganui Hospital, Florence Maud, dearly loved wife of Ernest George Bevege, of No. 18 Ballance Street, Aramoho, and beloved mother of Allan and Muriel, and loved grandmother of Doug, and Jill; aged 53 years. A patient sufferer at rest. Friends kindly note that the funeral will leave the Methodist Church, Somme Parade, Aramoho, for the Aramoho Cemetery tomorrow (Saturday, July 22, 1950), at the conclusion of a service commencing at 10.30 a.m. —Dempsey and Sons 144 Victoria Ave.

DEXTER—On July 20, 1950, at his residence, 4 Westbourne Terrace, Castlecliff, Frank, beloved husband of the late Emma Alexander Dexter, and loved father of Mrs. A. Walker (Auckland), Mrs. J. Lee (Wanganui), and Myrtle (Wanganui), and Harold (Marton), in his 91st year. Funeral notice later.— Fleming and Dick.

HUGHES—On Wednesday, July 19, 1950, at Hawera, Grace Emma, widow of the late William Hughes, late of Wanganui, and loving mother of Dorothy Williams (Silverdale), Rupert Caudwell (Wanganui), Edna Rusling (Kohi) and Alma Smith (112 Argyle St., Hawera), in her 76th year. The funeral will leave our private ehapel, Princess Street, Hawera, after a service commencing at 2 p.m. today (Friday, July 21), for the Hawera Cemetery. Friends please accept this intimation.—D.
