BRAWL FOLLOWS LEAGUE MATCH; ENGLAND BEATEN

SYDNEY, July 19 (Recd. 10.20 p.m.) Southern Division defeated England’s Rugby League tourists by 18 to 11 at Woolongong today, after the visitors had led 8 to 4 at half-time. After 30 minutes’ play the referee ordered off an England forward, Bob Ryan, for allegedly striking an opponent. After the match a brawl broke out in which several punches were traded and a Southern Division forward, L. Hurley, was knocked out.
