Mr. A. W. Jones has been re-elected patron of the Wanganui East Bowling Club. Mr. E. B. Chisholm, of Wanganui, has been elected president of the Dominion Council of Commercial Gardeners. ' Flight-Lieutenant E. W. Ziesler, R.N.Z.A.F., has been selected for service with the Royal Air Force for two ( years on exenange for an R.A.F fly- 1 ing instructor of equivalent rank. Flight-Lieutenant Ziesler, who was j bor n at Timaru, has been adjutant [ of No. 1 Territorial Squadron at - Auckland. He will undergo a course I at Wigram before leaving for England | i n August.
