Wanganui East Bowling Club Elects Officers
Officers elected at the annual meeting of the Wanganui East Bowling Club were;— Patron, Mr. A. W. Jones; president, Mr. F. Armstrong; vice-president, Mr. O. Larsen; secretary, Mr. D. Taylor; treasurer, Mr. R. S. Loader; auditor, Mr. F. A. de Barclay; delegates to the Wanganui Bowling Centre, Messrs. F. Armstrong, R. Bell, and D. Taylor; committee, Messrs. W. McDonald, R. Taplin, R. Bell, K. Scott, A. Webby, G. Hearn, and J. Bradshaw; selection committee, Messrs. F. McKessar, F. Armstrong, and O. Larsen; greenkeeper, Mr. F. McKessar; garden flower committee, Messrs. J. Fitzgerald, A. Gray, T. Bamber, H. Ward, J. Brandon, and Miller. About. 50 members attended the meeting. A hearty vote of thanks was given to the past president, Mr. James Brandon.
