Totalisator Double At Wanganui Paid £155
Backers of the winners of the totalisator double at Wanganui on Saturday were rewarded with a dividend of £155 2s for investments of £l. Foxtavia, which won the Hack Handicap, paid £8 6s on the straightout machine, and Lord Azure, winner of the second “leg,’’ the Empire Handicap, paid £lO 15s 6d. The amount handled on the doubles totalisator was £6344. and of 1180 ten-shilling tickets on Foxtavia bb were reinvested on Lord Azure. Doubles investments on the River Hack Handicap in ten-shilling units were as follow:—Aqudio 7b4, Wave Crest 2406, Felborough 244, Now’ Then 838, Bolton 1947, Waimate 598, Rappel 350, Broiemond 167, Foxtavia I 1180, Beau Roemont 99, Repatriation ! 317, Gay Echo 919, Happy Beau 506, Rockalong 253. The 1180 tickets on Foxtavia were reinvested as follows on the Empire Handicap:—Lord Afcure 68. Champagne 282, Mangatiti 20, Livre d’Or 138, Brenlock 43, Defence 148, Glide In 138, Revel Lad 38, Dynamic 131, Loud Checks 128, Fan Walla 11, Pa per Spy 29. (Further Racing appears on page 6)
