£41,818 LOSS BY AUCKLAND TRANSPORT BOARD LAST YEAR.

AUCKLAND, Last Night (PA).—The Auckland I'ransport Board, which now operates the largest municipallyowned fleet of buses as well as th p largest fleet of tramcars in the Dominion, incurred a net loss of £41,818 in the financial year ended on March 31. This was shown in the accounts adopted at the annual meeting. The loss was made up of deficits of £28,340 on the trams and £14,167 on the buses offset by a surplus of £689 from the running of the trolley.
