Nga Tawa Old Girls’ Association
The annual meeting of the Wanganui branch of the Nga Tawa Old Girls’ Association was held on May 26 at the home of Miss Jean Millward, Kawatiri Avenue. The election of officers was as follows:—President, Mrs W. J. Boyd; hon. sec., Miss Locheen Strachan; committee, Mesdames H. B. Knight, C. Linwood and E. W. Sampson. Votes of thanks were passed to the retiring president, Mrs J. Alexander, and the retiring secretary, Miss Jean Millward.
