Protest On Unlawful Organisations Bill In South Africa
CAPETOWN. May 17 (Rood. 7.40 pm). South African trade unions today called for a national protest on May 29 against the Unlawful Organisations Bill, introduced in the Union Parliament last week. The purpose of the Bill is to combat Communist organisations, but there have been protests that the terms of the Bill are so wide that they could be applied to other organisations.
