All Black Team For First Test

WELLINGTON, Last Night (P.A.) —Nine members of the side which toured South Africa, four who played against the Australians in New'Zealand and two new caps, one of whom is a Maori All Black, comprise the New Zealand team to meet the British Isles in the first Test at Dunedin on May 27. The new caps are G. E. Beatty (Taranaki), first five-eighths, and N. Cherrington (North Auckland), wing three-quarters. R. R. Elvidge (Otago), who led the All Blacks in the last two Tests in South Africa, is captain, with J. G. Simpson (Auckland), who was lhe pack leader in all four Tests, as vice-captain. Otago, with six members and Auckland with four, dominate the side, as they did in the team in South Africa. Taranaki has two, Wellington, Poverty Bay and North Auckland, one each.
