Enough Potatoes
There will be enough potatoes on the market for all next spring, states the lates issue of “Fikiit. and Produce,” welcoming the announcement of the Minister of Industries and Commerce (Mr Bowden) that there will be no price control on the new potato crop next spring. “With encouragement engendered by the promise of this long-desired freedom and given reasonable seasonal weather conditions,” says the magazie, “we are confident growers will ensure that J supplies are available next season. The black market—inevitable result 'of control—will be eliminated and adequate distribution to the constim- | ing public assured.
