NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Council held on the 18th day of April, 1950, a Resolution was passed that the Council do by Special Order acquire: ALL that piece of land containing six decimal three five (6.35) perches more or less being part Section 26 Right Bank Wanganui River being part of Lot 49 on Deeds Plan Number 302 and being Lot 5 on a Subdivisions! plan prepared by Wall, Bogle and Payne for deposit in the Land Transfer Office at Wellington and being part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title Volume 338 Folio 91 (Wellington Registry) and utilise such land together with other lands already owned by the Council for the purpose of extending a street in the City of Wanganui called or known as Caffray Avenue to its junction with Paterson Street. The said Resolution will be submitted to a special/ordinary meeting of the Council to be held at the Council Chambers, St. Hill Street, Wanganui, on the 16th day of May, 1950. at the hour of 730 p.m. for confirmation as a Special Order.
