DENIAL THAT BRITAIN SEEKS OUTSIDE HELP IN OVERSEAS DEFENCE
LONDON, April 20.—A Defence Ministry spokesman denied a report that the United States, the Dominions and Colonies may be asked to take over the bulk of Britain’s ground defence commitments outside Europe next year.
He described the report as without foundation and declared ‘hat no discussions on any such proposals had taken place.
