Signatures To Harbour Inquiry Petition
"The Civic Committee on Wanganui harbour affairs reports that signatures to the petition to Parliament for a commission of inquiry into the affairs of the Wanganui harbour have reached a good'four-flgure number and are still coming in, and that financial support is satisfactory,” stilted Mr. R. O. C. Marks in a statement yesteiday. “In view of the fact that many people state that thev have not received a copy of the petition the committee has ’extended the time for signing to January 31 and has been obliged to get a further supply of forms printed to ensure that every elector may have an opportunity to support tne petition."
