Chiquita Continues Her Winning Way
MELBOURNE, Dec. 25.—The brilliant three-year-old filly Chiquita scored her eighth successive win in nine starts by easily taking the Kinross Handicap, one mile, for mares and fillies, at Moonee Valley. She moved into the lead at will and won eased up. Results:— Kinross Handicap, one mile: Chiquita, 8.12 (Beasley) 1; Atomic Lass, 7.10 (W. Smith) 2; Chosen, 7.9 (Hutchinson) 3. Seven started. One and a-half length; two and a-half lengths. Time, 1.394.
