Woman Charged With Attempted Murder is Again Remanded
AUCKLAND, Yesterday (PA). — Making her second appearance since her arrest on the charge of attempting to murder Adrienne Honey at Blockhouse Bay on October 24, Una Jean Riga Corin, aged 33, a domestic, appeared in the Police Court today. The charge arose out of the alleged discovery of glass and poison in a billy of milk. Detective Sergeant Holmes said the police would be ready to proceed with the preliminary hearing on Tuesday next. Mr. J. Morling, S.M., with the consent of the defence counsel, Mr. R. K. Davison, granted a remand until that day.
