Politics To Be Kept Out Of The Services
LONDON, Dec 15 (Recd 6 pm).— Members of the forces who are not candidates will not be allowed to make speeches or take part in party affairs at the general election, the Defence Minister, Mr. Alexander, told the House of Commons yesterday. The Government believed it. was essential to keep politics out of the services, he added.
