Technical College Functions
At an afternoon tea gathering at the Technical College on Tuesday, opportunity was taken to make presentations to four teachers. They | were Miss P. Bent, who is going overseas, Mrs. Keith, a relieving teacher, I and Mr. Keats, who have left and Mr I Kerr, who received a wedding present. |The principal of the college, Mr. J. j Dash, made the presentations. ! In the evening after the prize-giv-ing, at the Opera House the staff and : their wives, board members and their i wives, and other visitors were enter- ; tained at supper at the college to meet Mr. W. Armour, the first prinI cipal of the Wanganui Technical College, and Mrs. Armour, who visited I Wanganui for the prize-giving cerc- ( mony and break-up of the school.
