Final Count For The N. Maori Seat
WELLINGTON, Last Night (PA). — Only three electorates have now to return their final counts in the general election. They are Clutha, Franklin, and Western Ma?ri. One further result received by the Chief Electoral Officer today wa*:— NORTHERN MAORI. P. Paikea (Labour? 5841 J. T. Henare (National) 3812 M. Otene (Liberal) 93 Pene Tuwhare (Kauhanganui) 30 Informal 127 Majority for Paikea 2029 An increase on election night majority of 17. The majority in 1946 was 2555.
