The box plans for “Annie Get Your Gun,’’ J. C. Williamson's remarkably successful musical comedy, which is to be produced for the first time here at the Opera House on Monday night next and two following evenings, and on Wednesday afternoon, December 21, are now open at the D.I.C. Evie Hayes, who plays the role of Annie Oakley, is said to be even better in the role than those who interpreted it in London and New York, and Earl Covert, who performs the part of
Frank Butler, is one of New York’s leading singers and artists, he having played in the American production of “Annie Get Your Gun” throughout the United States of America. A big feature of “Annie Get Your Gun” is the music composed for it by Irving Berlin, and other features are the elaborate costuming, the sensational dance effects, and the magnificent stage settings.
