Chief Justice Wounded In His Sleep
LONDON, Dec. 12—Armed men fired on and wounded the Chief Justice of Sierra Leone, Sir John Lucie Smith, while he was asleep in his house last Saturday, the Colonial Office announced in London tonight. A bullet was extracted and the Chief Justice’s condition is satisfactory. The police detained several men.
